Oriana Kemelmajer Alías Wins First Prize at the International Anton Rubinstein Piano Master Competition 2025
Oriana Kemelmajer Alías, student of the Chamber Classics Festival, has been awarded First Prize in the Piano Junior category at the International Anton Rubinstein Piano Master Competition 2025, marking a significant milestone in her developing career as a pianist.
This prestigious achievement brings with it an important package of awards, including three concert engagements within the renowned “Weltklassik am Klavier” concert series during the 2026/27 season, as well as a full scholarship for advanced postgraduate studies at the International Music Academy Anton Rubinstein in Germany.
Currently studying under Professor Gabriele Leporatti at the Anton Rubinstein Academy, Oriana Kemelmajer Alías has distinguished herself through her technical command, musical sensitivity, and artistic maturity. The First Prize recognition places her among the most promising young pianists of her generation and underscores her growing presence on the international classical music scene.
